Wake Up Call!

#Stayhome part 2. It’s Monday 20th, 9:00 A.M. Chibi and I are enjoying our sleep in since we are staying at home….until……… Teagan attack! She sneaks inside and gets close to the bed. Then she springs her legs and jumps on to the bed, doing her weird cute alien noise. She decided to wake us up by doing her weird cute alien noise, longing to play with us. I squished my pillow in between my ears to drown out the noise, but Teagan wouldn’t let me have my sweet sleep. We reluctantly got up to start our day, and continued our #stayhome agenda. Now that we are at home, she is excited to have us at the house (Teagan laughs mischievously).

With work, often times we forget about the importance of family. Due to our “busy” work schedule, family becomes lower priority, and we never get a chance to connect with them. I often struggle maintaining consistent communication with my relatives. Luckily, staying at home during the pandemic has given me more opportunities to think about my family. It has rekindled our relationship and helped me learn more about my relatives. Of course, your parents will nag about something you are flawed at, but they mean good. It’s their way of caring, and wants the best for your life. Maybe take this opportunity to call your parents and/or relatives and see how they are doing? Who knows, something good will come out of it and it could make your day!
