It was a nice sunny day out, and I wanted to gift Chibi some flowers. Some people think that buying flowers for a significant other means that you are trying to cover up your fuck up. That’s not true! Giving flowers can be a gesture of love to others, and whether you are a man, woman, or gender neutral, you can’t reject a flower gift (I looooove flowers). Whether it be flowers or just words, “I love you” a simple genuine act or words can mean a lot to the people you love. I know this because I have gone through relationship hardships because I had trouble expressing my love to another. I am innately not an expressive person, and I have a hard time showing how I feel to others. May be it’s the fact that I feel “exposed” when I let others know how I feel, but I am trying harder to be more real with my feelings and express it outwards.
If you are reading this and think that a simple “I love you” is trivial, you are wrong. Initially, it may seem that those 3 words are minor, but they have so much impact. In a relationship, small bad things can build up to something that will implode later on. I can’t stress how important it is to affirm and communicate your love to your partner. If you don’t do this, there will come a point of no return, and you may not be able to salvage the relationship. At this point, it is best to move on and learn from your mistakes. So, with that in mind, if you are thinking of your partner, make sure to give them flowers and show how much you love him, her, or they. I’m gifting my Chibi with flowers because I made fun of her short height :D. So, I guess this is my apology flowers to cover up my mistakes 😛
